Fortnite movie reportedly being discussed at Big

Epic Games is considering entr an entertainment division, which could entail a Fortnite movie.

As first according yesterday by TheInformation on October 11, games developer/publishing house Epic Games is looking to expand into the "scripted video recording programming business." As contribution of this new push, as according Mathew Olson notes in the tweet below, Epic is actively discussing a Fortnite picture show adaptation as part of the expansion plans.

As Olson notes, this could be part of Epos's push to expand their "metaverse." Additionally, the report from TheInformation notes that this could give Epic Games some other marketplace to expand into while the on-going lawsuits with Apple and Google have hindered their power to expand in the mobile market with Fortnite (you can head over to our Apple vs Epic case explainer guide for more).

It'll be interesting to go steady how the likely Fortnite movie would incorporate the game's crossover voter capacity, if it even would at all. Fortnite has really ramped finished the crossover content over the last year or so, including the like Wonder and DC characters in the battle royale game, and even superstars like Travis Scott and Ariana Grande entering the affray through their in-mettlesome concerts and character skins.
